HANGERS – in order to protect your clothing items we only accept plastic hangers. Find plastic hangers at Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Stores. Retail plastic hangers are acceptable too.
STRING TAGS – Avery White Marking Tags Strung (size 1.75 x 1.093 inches) are required on each item to affix our barcode labels to. You can find these at Wal-Mart, office supply stores, Rhea Lana Store (link) or large quantities may be purchased from Amazon.
You’ll also need re-sealable bags (for shoes, small toys, etc…), masking tape, scotch tape, sharpie, and safety pins. For large quantities of quality safety pins we recommend ordering from Cleaners Supply .
If you would like to print your barcodes at home you’ll need adhesive address labels size 1” X 2 5/8” (30 up). We recommend ordering from Amazon Here. Please note: all labels printed at home MUST be printed in color.
For the Spring events, we accept Spring/Summer clothing such as shorts, sandals, flip flops, Easter dresses, sun shirts, swim suits, tank tops, and other hot weather acceptable items.
For our Fall events, we accept Fall/Winter clothing such as jackets, long sleeve shirts, school uniforms, hoodies, sweaters, Halloween costumes (children sizes only, please), Christmas outfits, winter boots, and other cold weather items.
Remember: the better they look, the better they sell! Please take time to wash and iron your clothes. We recommend washing them in free/clear hypoallergenic detergents, as you do not want a buyer to be turned off from your item because of an overbearing fragrance. Also, please check for stains, broken zippers, missing buttons, torn hemlines, etc.
We will be checking your items at the store and will not receive any item that is not in excellent condition.
Please group items together so that they will equal a value of at least $3.00. They need to be secured together with a safety pin, so they do not get separated.
When hanging clothes, use small PLASTIC hangers for sizes 10 and below. Use larger PLASTIC hangers for sizes 12 and above. No metal hangers, please! When hanging your item, be sure that with the front of the garment facing you, the hook of the hanger forms the top of a question mark "?". This will ensure all your items are hanging in the correct direction for our racks.
All pants must be clipped or pinned to a hanger, not folded over, as they tend to end up on the floor and shoppers want to see the entire pant to purchase.
Safety pin all sets and accessories securely together with pants hung on the back of the shirt at the waist. Both pieces need to be visible without unpinning them.

Please only bring your like-new shoes! It is best to wash shoes first, but do not put in the dryer as this will likely melt some of the glue and create discoloring of the shoe. Let shoes air dry.
1) Write your consignor number, the item number, and price on masking tape on the bottom of each shoe with a Sharpie. This will help if they should become separated.
2) Use a zip tie to attach shoes together. Place the zip tie with the price tag through the shoe eyelet or heel pull. Shoes that have no place for zip tie should be put in ziploc bag with the price tag inside with the consignor number, the item number, and price written on the outside of the bag with a Sharpie. Seal bag with clear packing tape.
WE WILL NOT ACCEPT SHOES THAT ARE DIRTY, HAVE SCUFFED TOES, ARE HEAVILY WORN, OR HAVE DISCOLORED SOLES.
It is best to package a bedding set together in its original clear plastic bag with zipper. If the original package is unavailable, large ziploc bags can also be used to keep bedding clean and together. XL bags can be purchased at the dollar stores and/or Publix.
Hang and pin baby blankets over hangers so that shoppers can see them. If they are small receiving blankets, group similar styles together in a ziploc bag and seal with clear packaging tape. Tape string of tag to ziploc bag with clear packaging tape and write on the outside of the bag with a Sharpie your consignor number, the item number, and price.
We welcome books such as board books, easy readers, elementary, young adult, children/young adult fantasy or series, school required reading, pregnancy/maternity, cooking, parenting, and homeschooling to name a few!
We do not accept adult romance, erotica, and adult horror.
Books should be in groups by either theme, reading level, topic, series (etc.) and placed into ziploc bags. Seal bag with clear packaging tape and tape the tag to the outside of the bag. Using a Sharpie, write your consignor number, the item number, and price on the outside of the bag.
For Books that do not have like items or cannot be sold in a group should have the tag taped to the inside of the front cover. Also, on the inside of the front cover, use a piece of masking tape to write your consignor number, the item number, and price. This will help in the event a tag is separated from the book.
Items such as bottles, bibs, rattles, socks, bows, etc. need to be grouped together appropriately in ziploc bags. Seal with clear packing tape. Tape tag to ziploc bag. Be sure to write your consignor number, the item number, and price on the ziploc with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off during the sale.
Toys must be clean, in working order, with batteries included. Small parts must be bagged and attached to the main part very securely. If parts get separated it will not sell.
Games and puzzles (with storage boxes) must have all pieces and be wrapped securely in clear Saran wrap to keep the pieces intact and taped closed. The tag should be taped with clear packaging tape to Saran wrap. Puzzles (without storage box), books, videos and small toys should be grouped accordingly and placed in clear ziploc bags. Secure with clear packing tape and tape tag to the ziploc bag. Write your consignor number, the item number, and price on the ziploc bag with a Sharpie in case the tag comes off.
TOYS NOT PACKAGED APPROPRIATELY WILL BE TURNED AWAY.
We will only accept Disney, Beanie Babies, Folkmanis puppets, or other name brand stuffed animals in like new condition.
Large Little Tikes toys and furniture are in high demand! When tagging large toys it is best to also attach a piece of masking tape to the toy and write your consignor number, the item number, and price with a Sharpie on the tape. This will enable us to sell your toy even if the tag comes off!
Toy recall information: Due to the high number of toy recalls every year, we will be inspecting toys very carefully. We reserve the right to pull any toy that we think might have been recalled. Your car seat must have been manufactured within the past five years. It must not be subject to recall or have been in an accident. You may check the following website for current recalls: www.carseat.org/Recalls/179NP.pdf.
All seat covers and straps must be thoroughly cleaned. You will be asked to sign a car seat waiver stating your car seat has all the pieces and is in excellent condition and not more than five years old. Car seats will be closely inspected for safety reasons.
If approved for the sale, you will need to secure the tag using a safety pin to a cloth section of the car seat. Also, place a piece of masking tape on a metal or plastic section of the car seat and write your consignor number, the item number, and price with a Sharpie.
If you would like to bring large furniture pieces to our sale please email Haven at email@example.com for permission. (Desks, tables, chairs, etc) This will all be based on our space limitations. All furniture must be in EXCELLENT condition.
Due to the thousands of recalls and the crib regulations being raised, we will not sell any crib manufactured before December 2010. Contact the manufacturer of your crib to find out if it is recalled. Most companies will send you a repair kit or give you instructions on how to return your crib for a refund.
